Whats the best hp gain slip on pipe for the YZF450? Just got mine yesterday and want a new pipe. Im really likeing the HMF thats blue i think its really nice. Whats the best hp gain slip on pipe? Also Shocks? Elka? Works?

TCS shocks, they are still custom built for you not for a general spec like most others have gone to.
Go with a full system and get a woods pipe.

 

DMC Alien exhaust for a nice power gain and a deep, throaty sound. As far as shocks, i'd go with the Elka's because i have heard nothing but good about them.

 

I was kinda set on the HMF i Love they way it looks. Is there a good slip on for under 250?

 

I have a red HMF on my bike and really like how it sounds and performs

 

Is the preformance good then? I absoutly love the red because it maches the bike and it looks good. Does the jet kit work well to? Is the difference notable?

I didn't get the jet kit with it. got it put on at a dealer and they dialed it in with an open air box, pro-flow k&n. Of course the difference is noticeable. get rid of the heavy, corked up stock exhaust and get that pipe.

 

I've heard the Dr. Dune exhaust is the best.....for performance.......
