best set of mud tires for wolverine would be a 25 inch bearclaws or blackwaters for a wolverine which is a work and play bike. I own a 2000 Kodiak and have 26 inch mud bug tires all the way around 26 x 10 x 12, but wolverine is a little sportier, go with the 25 inch bearclaws

Bi-Claws & Tri-Claws are hard to beat in the mud,
I have a set of tri's on a 2wd rancher and they are unbeliveble. I would stay with 25" tires on the wolverine.

Titan 589's. I have them on my Grizzly and they perform very well in the mud, and everywhere that I have taken them. It probably wouldn't hurt for you to go up to a 26" tire.

Wolverines aren't geared low enough for aggressive tires. I wouldn't put 25" mud tires on one. Try some wide 23" or 24" Mud Machines, they're good tires, but not so aggressive that you can't turn them. I've seen Wolveines with stock tires in bad mud and couldn't even get the tires turning. I've seen another Wolverine bored out with a pipe with 26" mudbugs and it' bogged really bad taking off on gravel. Others may tell you otherwise, but without motor mods you will regret putting aggressive 25" tires on your bike. If you want more ground clearance get a lift kit http://www.highlifter.com makes a really good one that won't be to hard on your CV joints.

Hey, Check out the Highlifter website (www.highlifter.com). If you are getting larger tires they sell a bolt on package which makes up for lost power from tires or will increase power with standard wheels. I am getting the bold on kit and 25" blackwaters as soon as my tires where down on mine.

Good Luck

I would get 26 inch outlaws or some surtracks. I really like the mud bugs in the mud. I have 27 inch mud bugs on my 99 grizz and 28 inch outlaws on my 2001 grizz 730.
