Default 2003 YZ450F vs Nissan 240sx

2003 YZ450F with Yoshimura Racing Pipe (carbon fiber), K&N air filter, street tires (slicks), GT thunder engine built, 4 mm stroker kit to make it a 470cc, and a 5'7' 135 lbs skill rider against a 1994 nissan 240sx with a sr20det (Silvia conversion) engine swap, t66 turbo and HKS intercooler and a skill driver. Which would win agianst each other.

Note: I only listed the engine upgrades

Thanks!!

hmmm... Kind of depends on how much boost the 240 is running, ect.

Considering he went to the trouble of swapping the SR20, Im willing to bet he is running lots of boost.
If the car is as fast as it could be, the quad might pull it just for second or two then the car will probably pull ahead.

He has a 15lb Venom Nitrous Tank with the Venom Race Module. I saw a thread about a dirtbike smoking an eclipse, but only a stock one. I didnt know dirtbikes has that kind of potential against a car. But, with this sr20det engine, I think there's no way with this guys mods.

Depends on what kind of dirt bike of course.

My KX500 with stock gearing probably tops out at 75, maybe 80.

But, it pulls to the very top of 5th gear effortlessly. With a change of sprockets, it could easily pull 100MPH+.

Could you make a quad go 100+ with just sprokets changed? Personally, Mr350x, do you think that topspeed or acceleration is vital in a 300ft drag?

Acceleration is 100% important, top speed = 0%. (ASSUMING you have common sense enough NOT to gear your bike so it reaches top speed before 300 feet!)
Traction, and acceleration are key in a 300 foot drag.

And there is not any mainstream production quad out there that has the power to pull 100mph gearing to the top without moderate/serious mods.

Oh yeah, then why did yamaha claim that a raptor 700r would claim victory over a 06 yfz450 in a 300ft drag if the yfz450 accelerates way faster?
