Default What next for my Raptor ? Please help

Hey guys.........need some help/advice. I don't know what to get next for my 2004 660 Raptor?
Currently I just have a Full HMF header/exhaust, jetted, thats it for performance parts. I was thinking
of getting a aftermarket CDI box. The 2 in mind are the Big gun, and the Dyna FS. I know the
Dyna has more features, would they produce the same amount of performance?

Do you think I should get a different performance part first??????? Please help

Thanks!!

I'm going to keep the shocks for now, thanks for the advice, any other
ideas on performance parts, mainly for drags against other mildly modded
sport quads?

get rid of the airbox or atleast the lid, that mod is cheap. How about a hot cams stage 1?

go with a lowering kit in front and if its in your budget maybe a +3 or +4 swingarm. You can get a tucker pro sport swing arm kit for 720$ and it has everything you need.

Hey guys thanks for the comments/help so far !!!!

I'm going to stay away from changing the suspension at this point in time
we do a lot of trail riding, drag races and spend a lot of time in the sand.

I think the Hot Cam stage 1 sounds like a good idea, from what I've read
it adds 2-3 HP??

Does anyone think the aftermarket CDI's are worth the money?

No, not at all!.......Not for a raptor. I had my 660 to where it would rev nicely and I don't recall hitting the rev limiter not even once.
If you haven't done so already, buy a Pro Flow K&N and remove the lid. This will require bigger main jets. If your running a closed box now you should notice a big improvement.
