Blaster, 400ex, 300ex, z400, kfx400.. Anything really. Just those highpowered 2 strokes are powerful and wicked fast. There not for the timid. My friend that has maybe 2 years of riding behind his belt bought a banshee. Guess what he did the first day he rode it. Crashed it hard. Barrel rolled down a hill. I don't know how he did it. I guess he just isn't experienced enough. He also drives it like a old lady so he fouls plugs a lot. I actually beat him in a drag race with a 300ex. Thats how bad he is.

Well he's decent now. Its just like anything else, you just have to get used to it. He had a 300ex prior to this so he had some seat time. A 400ex would be a great quad. Personally I think the 300ex is underpowered. It makes for a great trail quad, but if you want to drag someone, forget about it. The 300ex I rode used to bog up hills in second gear. I think the top end was ready to go and it burnt oil bad. But, it was o.k for the trails. 400ex would be the better way to go. Or even better the z400. Its a little faster than the 400ex, and with some money you can really get that thing to move. So when you get better and want more power, just get exhaust, airfilter, cam. Then if you want more shave the head, I think they make a big bore kit for it but I'm not sure. The possibilites are endless. As for the blaster, its a great quad. Its a 2 stroke, oil injected (junk). Throw on a exhaust, 240 kit, airfilter, widen it, port and polish, bigger carb, and that little blaster is going to haul some major a$$. Good luck with your purchase.
