wow, ther are some truly bored cry babies around here aren't there? Wholly crap, we all know that hotfmfblaster is seven right? so who the hell cares? And anyone who talks any sh*t here about ANY type of bike they have never even set their butt on has even bigger brains. I have no problem powersliding the raptor. You just have to get into it and trust it. Like any other bike.
lets get back to more important things shall we?

ridzhard do you have a raptor to know what I am talking about? And also I do not know that I am going 50 mph on a jump I never said that! I said that I have attempted over 50 different jumps! Read other posts and they are saying the same about the sidebite on the stock tires. I am not an expert rider or racer just a guy out to have fun and I posted that to get ideas or help on the situation not to be flamed by you or anyone else!! Message boards are for fun!! To gain ideas to improve your hobby not tear down someone and there hobby. Later

x250rDude
"hay"? I take it you mean "hey"? Well anyways..I have heard that song. And i'll also assume that it is a "cut down" on a ds? if so what am i suppose to say..?"nice job"? nah not that. How about why dont you quit talking and come over and race your "toy". Let your skill's do the talking. Now dont give me some stupid reply of "where do you want to meet"...unless you really do

I took a Raptor for a short ride on Sat. I liked the power lots, it wasn't overwhemling or anything, a Banshee feels faster . I thought the front end has a really loose feel to it, i took it over some woops and i was all over the place, maybe i just wasn't used to it. It's high and narrow but it didn't feel tippy like the critics were hoping. The owner has had no problems and they have had it out 3 or 4 times. I liked it but i am sticking with my 400ex, it's the right quad for me.

hotfmfblaster,

You post was all wrong, sure some guys had some problems, most out there are not having any problems at all. I dont see how you can make a review on this machine without any proof or reviewing the machine yourself.

The Raptor is a good machine (from what I hear). I have not had the chance to see one in action yet, but I bet they are nice.

Every quad Blaster, Warrior, Banshee, Raptor, 300ex, 400ex, DS650, 250r and any others I left out will all have problems on their first initial run.

I use to own a blaster (99 model) and am scratching my head as to why I got one, I am now very pleases with the Banshee, I absolutly LOVE IT! I will keep up maintenance/repairs on it, like every 2 stroke, maint. is a must.

I see that you got a lot of flames here and you do deserve it. Your post was outright BS!, maybe except for the few owners who have had problems.

Thats all for me now, read the topic about an hour ago and dont feel like going back threw and then posting more.

A QUAD IS A QUAD, HAVE FUN WITH WHAT YOU RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ridzhard,

I do you moron...thats exactly why you cant powerslide on the stock Raptor tires. They do not have super sturdy sidewalls, they roll, and the traction is unsurpassed. Until you ride one, dont preach your gospel. you DO NOT KNOW. I can FULL OUT GUN IT , on loose gravel for Gods sake, and before the turn is over...my tires WILL have already came off the ground, and be riding a crooked wheelie right off the trail. With Razr or Holeshot type tires..this thing will slide as easily as any. We that RIDE them, KNOW them..which is more than others can say, predict, or preach. And by the way..you REALLY need to read the Dec. 2000 ATV Action shootout. Professional riders out MX'd the DS,Banshee, and 400ex by SUBSTANTIAL times, due the the Raptor ALWAYS being able to set -up the jumps perfectly, due to Unsurpassed Engine predictability and power. The pro- riders went UN-GODLY crazy over huge Doubles to test this , and it was proven...EXCELLENT on the track. So, speaking of pie-holes that need shut...ummmm. ya you should.

Excuse me, But when did we decide to complain about Too Much Traction? YES, It is harder to powerslide, whats the problem? Any one ever heard a freakin ferrari driver complaining about the rear end not breaking loose on a 130 mph corner? I think Not. The raptor rides through corners like its on a rail, If you must break it loose use your body to shift weight and gas it. Also add some air to the tires or by some flatter profiled tires (holeshots, turftamers, razors, etc.) I am amazed when people complain about too much traction.
