Would a K&N stage 2 jet kit have hige enough jets for my Raptor? Pro Circuit Full exhaust, Pro Design faom filter system, stage 1 hot cam, bored .40 over, Wiseco piston and gonna mod or remove air box lid. It was already jetted when I had bought it. Dont know what size mains are in it right now but everyone said the regular jet kit wouldnt be high enough. I saw there is a stage 2 and even a stage 3 and figured the stage 2 would work. Wanted to make sure before I purchased it though.Thx.

 

You will probably need bigger jets than what comes in the Stage2 but you can always call and order more jets from Dynojet. They are only $2 each..............What comes with a Stage3?

 

What type of jets are in the Raptor? I see there are small round, large round etc. Will probably buy the DJ kit for the needles and such then order some mains.

 

They are small rounds. If you go with a Dynojet kit, stick with Dynojets. They're tapered for their needles..............[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Just don't mix DJ needles and Mikuni mains, go all the way with one or the other.

 

That's why you can't mix and match.

 

DJ type. Get 160-180 just to make sure youve got all the bases covered. If you mod the lid and jet it, and later remove the lid or box completely, you will have to bump up the jets.
