Default Raptor jetting issues

I have jetted my Raptor with HMF full pipe and K&N pro flow. I used DJ's 148/146 3 turns out on screw and 4th clip from the top on the needles. Anyway, It is running to rich at idle, unless I keep the choke open about half way. Then it runs awesome. Do I just need to move the clips on the needle up, Or do I need to run leaner jets? Any help would be great. It's time to go riding and I need to get her done! LOL

try 2 1/2 turns out on A/F screws and put the clips on the 3rd clip from the top and see how close that gets you.

I'll give that a try. I just want to get it running right, without pulling the carb out too many times. Thanks!

with a raptor you better get used to pulling the carbs out, each bike is different and it takes several tries and combos to get the jetting right, and on top of that you should change jets between winter and summer.

I don't have to worry about riding in the summer here, It's too damn hot!!! LOL But yes, I have already had it apart a lot, so it's not a big deal. I'm just having a hell of a time getting it jetted right this time.

You obviously are running with the lid, correct? I had the same thing and it ran great at 2 3/4 L and 3 R but I had no lid. I would try 2 3/4 on both. I probably wouldn't move the needles cause you're already running small jets.
Did you remove the half flaps inside the snorkle?
