Default twist v. thumb throttle

Oddly enough, when riding my street bike (twist) I really seem to like it. But, on my Banshee, the thumb is the only way to go. I think it has to do with the rough terrain. Bumps and hills make the twist alot harder to control.

why the 700r only?
Easy to use not a lot of spring tension.

This is what happens when you have a twist throttle on a quad.

The best throttle is the snowmobile, watercraft ones. Its almost like a thumb throttle but its much bigger and covers the hole handle.

I think that people who don't have much experience with twist throttles should stay away from it, unless you really want to take the time to get used to the it. I rode dirtbikes for 5 years, when I got my raptor I hated the thumb throttle. I bought a twist for it and I love it. Thumb throttles don't bug me too much anymore, but I actually feel like I have more control with the twist.

You still havent put that in yet? I've had mine on long enough to get one ride trip on it. I purchased a different model that I'm switching to, the push-pull was a waste. But I swear you'll never go back to the thumb after you twist those fcr's open.

Edit: Heh heh, my post count says "BOOB"!!!

Luckily it didnt go all the way over, and land him. Something ive always wondered is why some dirt bikes dont have thumb throttles. Ive always thought they would allow for more control.
if it was a 2 stroke he prolly wouldve done a basckflip. every time i go off jumps with my friends dirtbike i tense up, trying to hold on tight, and i twist the throttle even more. four strokes arent as bad as it is on a 2 stroke, but it still causes you to fly back
