Default twist v. thumb throttle

One of the first things i do to a new bike is install a twist throttle! I go on long rides in the dunes and i can ride for 10 min with a thumb throttle before it hurts. Very fatiguing and just an annoyance.

It took me 2 weeks to find someone with a twist throttle for my 700 after I bought it....I promptly installed it and never looked back.

I personally like both. I grew up riding snow mobiles since I was 6. Then I got a mini bike when I was 6 or 7 with a twist. Then I got a LT185 when I was in 3rd grade. Then I got a XL80S when I was in 5th grade. So, it kept going back and forth. I mastered both twist and thumb. Needless to say, my thumb still hurts after awhile. My wrist doesn't give out, but for some reason my thumb will. But that doesn't stop me for having fun!
