You would be much better, money wise, to build up the motor. There are shops that can stroke it to a 416. Essentially any mod for a warrior will work on the wolverine. You may even be able to swap out the top end with a big bear since its stock bore is a 400. Swapping motors to an automatic would require a lot of frame modifications plus you would have to get a new rear end since they are flipped.

Now the real thing in my mind is if you could swap the top end of the wolverine 450 motor with that from the YFZ 450. Bore and stroke that to a 470. Now that would make the new wolverine fly!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

its a good bike my driend has one and when it snows its great and just plain trails is fun the tires seem great and the power is pretty good. then again im used to riding my kfz/grizz so thats prob why im not too impressed wit the power.

I've been breaking mine in at IMI dirt track in Erie. We might be going there within the next couple of weeks. We're also going to hit Big Elk Meadows, hopefully some time soon.
