Acceleration is torque not horsepower. Horsepower is top speed, torque is what gets you off the line fast.

I was told that if I pulled the baffle out of my CR250 I would be making close to 70-75hp with the WB cams I have in it. Does this sound right driver doyle?

I am having a hard time getting my 450r started. Do you think a new reed cage would fix it?

OK...Driverdoyle, nothing against the warrior. I have one and I love it but you are not putting out 55 hp right now. probably not even 40. I cant give you an exact number but I have some more and bigger engine mods than you and I would be lucky if I was pushing 40. I havent got mine on a dyno yet but I KNOW its not moe than 55. And if yours was FOR SURE 55 mine would be more. Im sorry but there is no way. Oh and nice warrior by the way

I don't normally reply to these HP threads, but fact is fact.

An FST 446 stroker, 11:1, Race cam, fully ported / polished head + valve springs, High Flow air intake, jetted and good slip-on has been reliably dynoed numerous times. You are only looking at 34-36 HP at the motor, 27-29 HP at the rear wheels.

55 HP with your mods...no way!

I would have to say 55HP is a bunch of crap man... I would like to know what kind of Dyno you were on and under what conditions to get those numbers with your mods... I have way more mods then you do and I am not putting out even over 40HP as of right now. With the FST 446 kit, a real good port/VJ, and extensive other mods you will get maybe a little over 40HP out of her (according to Dunlop). It is true that when stroked the warrior lays down some massive torque and can and WILL beat raptor 660s but not with your mods now and no way do u have anywhere near 55 HP (not with out a sneaky Pete some place on your bike)... You still have a nice warrior none the less but you need to jump on a Factory Pro true Dyno not run by a complete idiot bro.

See my profile for my mods and pictures... You think you have cashed dumped into your Warrior, tell me about it... I would also like to know how the hell you have over 4,000$ in motor mods!? You must have gotten ripped off hardcore, that is crazy expensive for what you have!
