16 tooth countershaft sprocket??? a badger could beat a raptor with that kind off gearing if you got it rolling!!!(just kidding) and what do you suppose would happen if you put a 16 tooth countershaft sprocket on a raptor? I can tell you you wouldn't be at the finish line first!!!!

 

These posts come up about every other week and make me lmfao!

I really think the ones that start these are minors (ages 12-17, maybe 18 sometimes), the ones that get beat all the time or have never reaced anyone and just like to beat on peoples quads.

Then you have the types that put in replies (usually same age, or the ones with super modded shees or whatever they ride) laughing at the poster (giving me a good laugh).

Point is....ENJOY WHAT YOU RIDE, everyone has their own taste in quads, be it Yamaha, Honda, Bomb, Kawa, ect.

Me personally, I ride a 01 Banshee out in Texas. I dont care if it is or isnt the fastest. All I like to do is ride, if I wanted to drag race all the time I woulda went into NHRA or moved to glamis and bought a super modded shee, but wait! then I couldnt go trail riding.

I mostly ride with dirtbikes and a couple of friends that have quads as well. They all ride, yamaha 250, kawa 125, CR500, 97 wolverine, 98 Blaster, 01 kawa T(something, cant remember name of it) and another that rides a polaris 400. We all get along fine, sure we race sometimes but I havent raced my shee yet, isnt broke in only have got to ride it for about 5 minutes so far, no truck =(, drive a freagin car.

Whenever we go we have a great time, no one bashes on each others quad or dirtbike, ITS ALL ABOUT HAVING A GOOD TIME.

So please, lets stop the quad bashing unless you can prove it with some Video footage, then you can come here and say I beat (insert bike here) with my (insert bike).

I apologize for coming off as a jerk on this subject.... I...like most of the others do come to the forum for an informative review and opinion from my peers.... I might seem to take things pretty seriously.... I have been around this forum for a while now...and post after post of bashing and stirring up trouble just is not my way of having fun.... I like to "rib" just as much as the next guy.
I understand you were just having fun...and that's fine. I bet you would enjoy riding with me...I'm not all serious.
I guess the ten + years in age difference (referencing your comment to 18 year olds) that I have often makes me seem like I am out for an argument. Not always the case.... You try to convince me that your just fooling around and are old enough to drive...yada yada. But yet you lower yourself just to get a rise....and I lower myself also. Believe me...I'm not all hardcore...you would see that if you did ride with me.
My experience with many different styles of bikes and quads just leads me to get angry when someone tries to pull the wool over someones eyes or jumps in just to try to get a rise out of someone...good job...it worked.
I'll stop my ranting and leave this post to you other guys.
The last thing on my mind is to try to come across as a jerk.

You guys could settle it easily. There is an atv rodeo in Nichols, NY on Nov. 12th Tioga Park (the border of NY & PA). They have an 1/8 mi. drag strip they run (660 ft). The track is an old horse track it is soft loose dirt like coarse sand, plenty of shut down and a christmas tree no speed traps though. You can have a friendly grudge match. However the way the classes are I think you would be in the same class anyways.
If your going I`ll be your unbiased witness.

No not really. But it will run with much bigger quads, like a 400ex and a banshee. My dad was on the 240 blaster and smoked me when I was on my banshee. Of course the grass was all wet and I spun out till 5th gear, lol. No seriously, my blasters fast, but I never brag about it. So what if it will beat a stock 400ex in a drag race and run with a banshee, big deal.

If you think your quads all big and bad thats why they have races. It doesnt take much rider tallent to drag race. Join the real world. Prove your quads faster on a track or through trails. Where a skilled rider will dominate, even if thier quad is slightly slower in a drag.

I agree with everyone else JUST RIDE AND HAVE FUN!!!

And by the way My quads faster than yours HA HA!!
