4-Wheel Atv Action Raptor-DS650 Shootout

The results:
Top Speed - 74.9 for both machines
125 yard drag results winner - Raptor
MX course winner - Raptor
Dune Results overall winner - Raptor
It was noted that the DS felt more stable through whoops and was more comfortable for very large riders. Also, the DS had a lot of body roll, bumpsteer, and very little low end power. If anyone wants, I can post more detailed info.
By the way...results may change by the next issue since that mag has been known to stray away from the truth in previous issues.

Wow, a real editor for 4-Wheel Atv Action. NOT!! It was not tested in the woods. For larger riders like myself, the DS is good because of ergonomics (sorry for such a big word). Do not get me wrong, I like yamahas and a banshee inspired me to get a DS. To me, what seems evident is the fact that a Raptor is an easier machine to ride. With a little practice, the DS becomes awesome to ride. My 2 cents.

Dirtwheels sang a different story, in their shootout, the DS accelerated faster, had more suspension travel, won sand drags repeatedly, and had 5 more ponies. The mag did say, to everyones surprise, the 400EX they included in the shootout, just for fun, won the MX race, and was everyones(test riders) favorite jumper. One more thing, the Raptor was the only quad to fold the axle.
