which piston will last the longest and which will give the best performance. Hows the je ,wiseco, and any others.which jet kit is the best for the stock carb . i have to get new rings so i figure ill get a high performace piston too i currently have a fmf slip on jetted k/n filter with outerwears with airbox on and combine this with a piston. what would be a good starting point for jetting i live in newyork and its about 40 degrees rightnow and its for a 93 warrior

First off, learn how to use periods, spacing, and maybe even paragraphs.
Second, I'm assuming warrior from your avatar but its best to specify what bike when asking jetting questions.
Third, your rings may not necessarily fit an aftermarket piston though usually stock or small bore increases do.
As for jetting it shouldnt be too hard if you're already got it jetted right for your current modifications. Usually its just a tweak of your current settings leaving your needle alone but sometimes upping your main(s) a size and turning your fuel screw(s) out a tad.
For piston brand both JE and wiseco would work fine, havent heard of problems with either on the warrior. If its a rap stick with wiseco or spend more and get CP or Ross. Remember if you go too high on compression you'll have to run race fuel.

if you need rings, you prolly need to hone it out or possibly bore. Je is a good piston there are supposedly better but I have a 12:1 je in my raptor and it has performed very well. I would suggest going up in compression if you are looking for more power, 10:1 to 11:1 and you can usually still run pump gas with no problems, also if you do that you should put a better cam in it. Then of course you will need to fine tune your jetting, but it shouldnt change much unless you do some mods to the air intake or exhaust somewhere.

well we were gonna buy the alba kit that came with high comp piston all gaskets and hardware cam valv springs ect for 430 but i still have to buy a jet kit sprockts chain tires bushings so im just gonna buy the piston and gaskets and rings i just want the best and fastest piston

it would be better to buy the alba kit, it usually turns out cheaper to do one thing all at once, plus you will get full potential for you money. But the wallet will always dictate performance, you got to do what you got to do.
