Default extended A arms and Swing arm (what to go with?)

hey im lookin for some better suspention on my raptor. i want to go bigger on jumps, still ride in the dunes and be able to do some desert to. what should i go with? i heard only plus 2 for the swing arm? whats good brands to go with to ? shocks a arms whatever

Janssen make very nice stuff. As for what lengthe +2 is good for the swinger all around unless you plan on drag racing then go longer for the front depends on your weight and budget for 200Lbs and under +2 will work very good unless you have the money or weigh 200+ then go with +3 and long travel shocks.

i think im going to save up and get the nice stuff. so a +3 sounds like to go with what about a +3+1 set up? those got any advantages? or disadvantages?

how you like your alien pipe? i been lookin into em and thats what i think i want i got bout the same setup as you sept with a pos fmf

no disadvantage other than cost, longer travel allows for more oil and more time for it to work and more adjustable preload. More oil will help the shocks stay cool and they will be less apt to fade, if you want to do bigger jumps then that is the way to go.

I like my Alien it has been a good performing pipe for the most part. When I first went to the 12:1 I blew the back of it out and launched behind me somewhere, but that was due to having the disc style sparkarrestor which I have changed out since. I wouldnt buy one again I would suggest a Sparks or CT pipe for the style of riding you plan on.
