JE is not good, go with Wiseco or CP. CPs are awesome. There is nothing wrong with Wiseco.

CP Pistons

Call and talk to Scott. He will set you up.

JE's warrior pistons work great, its the raptor 660 they dont like. Ross is better, but IMO you're entering the realm of diminishing returns. Wiseco would work fine too.

I had the same prob. I had a wisco 10.25.1 in mine. it did not seem to give it much more power over stock. I put a JE 12.1 in it and it was like a night a day diffents. i not saying nothing bad about wisco, i just like the JE better. JE is a little lighter pistion than wisco. And if its true what you say about them crackin Oh Well i well just have the fun of rebuilding it agine.

I have ran JE pistons for years without the first problem, but have also ran wiseco.JE seem to be alittle more performance minded. Most of your Nascar teams run JE, so they must be a very good piston.

Yeah if nascar is useing them then you know they got to be good. When running a JE 12:1 piston what octan would i run? 100 octan? And my bore is still at std would i notice a diff in power?

Just because nascar runs something doesnt mean that the product is the best for quads. Nascar has alot more money for pistons then you or I so the JE pistons they use are probably great. But unless you want to spring for a piston that costs as much as one would for nascar then I would stay away from the JE pistons in quads. Think of it this way....there has been several cases of them grenading in a motor so is it worth the risk to have one let loose in your motor or just use another piston????

If You will look at most of the pro bikes they all run JE pistons.Curtis Sparks who builds just about all the pro engines on the motocross circuit Uses JE pistons and has been voted engine builder of the year many times.Give him a call at Sparks racing and see what he says.We run in the A-class and 9 out of 10 riders use JE.
