warrior smoking question

Default warrior smoking question

ok my warrior is a 93 with a fmf slipon and jetted by previous owner buy anyways it started smoking a lil bit in the summer and now its winter and at higher rpms it smokes blue and once and a while will cut out the plug is black and oily but it still starts good and had power im wondering if its rings, or wat

You need to install new piston rings. While you have it tore down you might as well have the sylinder bored and pit a new piston in. you also need to install a new topend gasket kit.

Yes 100% but when you tare it down check your clylinder to make sure there are not any bad scratches in the walls. is there are you might have to get it bored.

were just gonna ride it till it dies then get it bored and get the alba kit i was just seeing i theres any other possibilities like valves needing adjustment

The only reason the valves would need adjustment is if they were tapping. Other then that all you need is to rebulid your top end.

Do a compression test, and youll have a good idea how bad it is. Its most likey worn out rings, but if the compression isnt real bad...and it runs good, id just put in a hotter plug, and keep running it .
