banshee tranny trouble

ok so now i have both banshees that are giving me fits one dosent seem to be able to find 2nd gear and the other one dosent seem to want to go into 1st gear anyone know if i will need to split the cases to fix it will i need any special tools if i do need to split them thanks

A flywheel puller is the only "special" tool you will need. You can buy one at your local Yamaha dealer. Other wise regular metric tools and a torque wrench.

Oh and you can buy a nice used tranny off flee-bay if you look every now and then.
I bought one last year for about $175 and had it cut. It's in my 558 right now.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
