it starts up fine and runs good at an idle. when accelerating in every gear it takes off ok but then it loses power and it sounds like its missing almost. it bogs down when full throttle. could this need a good carb cleaning. has anyone else had a problem like this and do you have any suggestions.

 

also, it has new plugs and is running on 32:1 mix. any suggestions are appreciated

 

what kind of gas and oil u running?
maybe u need to clean ur carbs
do u leave it outside water might have got in ur gas

 

Could be a T.O.R.S. problem.

 

premium gas and yamalube oil. it isnt outside so it shouldnt have water in the gas. i dont know what T.O.R.S. is. im thinking ill clean the carb but anything else anyone can think of the check will be appreciated. thanks

 

the TORS is a Throttle override system they have been known to be a pain Click here
have u dont any jetting to it
are u running a no lid setup
has it set for a while?
