i was looking to buy a new carburator and i saw the white brothers carburator and there is an option for the accel pump whats the difference between that one and the one without it.

 

its an alternate fuel route in the carb body. when you mash on the gas it shoots extra fuel into the intake. when you roll on the throttle easy it does nothing at all. if you have ever driven a carburated (sp) vehicle or quad that stubmles when you stand on the gas, that is caused by the large rush of air which rushes in before enough fuel can be pulled from the bowl, essentially starving the motor for a split second. the accelerator pump eliminates this problem.

 

get an edelbrock, they're worth the money for the power gain, throttle response, and ease of tuning and jetting. $350 sounds like a lot, but it's a huge improvement over the stock one, compared to the slight gain from the white brothers carb

 

so the white brothers doesnt give me that much power over stock. how much power gain would i get from an edlebroke carb over a white brothers i mean i could put $150 that would cost me for the carb somewere else

were can i order a edelbrock carb.

 

If you visit yfm350central.com, a forum dedicated to warriors and rappy350's, there is a product review of them. Everyone that has one is very pleased with it and recommends it. The cheapest place to get the edelbrock carb is ebay, there's a guy that always has one for sale for $350 + 16 for shipping. You can also go to edelbrock.com, and look at it under the off road section for the description. Instead of using main jets, everything is controlled by the needle, and there are more adjustments. You can adjust the acclererator pump to eliminate the hesitation/bogging that all warriors seem to have when you gun it hard from idle or low rpms. And no choke to screw around with too! I think that edelbrock claims 3-5 hp, but it will give a bigger gain if you already have aftermarket exhaust and filter, and from the reviews i've read, it feels like it gives a larger power gain than it's rated for.

 

the edlbroke is $400 i dont think im gonna be spending that type of money on a carb.

 

On ebay it's 366 shipped, but how much is this white brothers thing? like 250 with the accel pump? Just save up another $100, I doubt that the white brother's carb is much better than the stock one at all.

How big is the edelbrock? I believe the yfz carb is a 39mm, probalby too much for a stock bike but may be something to look into for modified ones.
