amc5,,,,if you think getting scratch's is going to bother you,the camo will hide scratch's alot better than a solid color will,,,,,,but out of all of the solid colors, green (in my opinion) holds up alot better than any fancy color,,,,ive always gotton the green with every bike ive ever bought

thanks for trying to make me feel better on my deal..
Have to agree though green prolly does pretty good, i know my black shows alot but after a while i just stopped caring...the only problem bout solid colors like red and green is that they look 5years old the day u buy it, specially that green..i remember seeing a green one at the showroom and i thought it was a trade in but it was a 05 brand new...that would turn me off defently from solid colors..cant go wrong with black or camo though!

well guys, it was too good to be true. .......long story short...
so i have been talking with this guy for like 2 weeks on the 06' Grizzly. Last words out of his mouth, "Come on up and for $6320 you will be leaving with a 06' Grizzly and a smile on your face" haha , far from it. So, the last few days i called him and wanted to know colors, but he failed to call me back, so I said what the heck, ill go up anyway. All the while confirming he DID have them. I get there, and there they are. I talk to him and first words out of his mouth, "Well, that price we talked about, what was that again?" I told him and he responds, "Well,,, hmm,, let me take this up to my manager and see what we can do". At this point im already thinking this is not good. He already seemed shady.
After a while he comes back and says he in fact can do the 6320 "on the green one". So he says, so can i go ahead and get that check from you for the half and fill out this app for the rest ( i told him id do half and half). Im like, uh, not yet, id like to drive the thing at least. So, i thought about it a sec, he had a black special edition out there they i looked at. I asked why his 06' SE was black, he hesitated and then reluctantley told me it was an 05'. Im like really,, can you check the green one to be sure its an 06'. Comes back like 10 min later, well.... <long pause> its an 05' as well... everything we got is an 05'. I stood there in amazement. He was gonna sell me an 05' and not tell me. I spoke with his manager, and all he could say was that the sales guy i has been dealing with made a mistake. Said he woudl sell me a 05 for 6100. I laughed and said im going elsewhere. There was more to the story but that was the short verson lol. Needless to say there wre a few others in there that overheard me and left. Moral of the story.... DONT go to Powersports of Greenville in SC. They will lie to you and try to take your money. So. my search continues

Wow $6100 is an awesome price. I paid $5999 PLUS tax (like another $500) for a 05 Kodiak 450, which I love!!!. Shaddy or not I think I might get it for price alone or at least tryed to see if they could get the 06 in for ya. I wish we had a wheelin and dealin place around here but unfortuantly you have to go to the only places around and most all charge retail prices.
