question for yfz450 owners

i was riding my 450 when i noticed i didnt have to use to clutch to shift.. i race up hills here
whrere i live so not using the clutch keeps my momentum up... so how many of u are not using the clutch to shift?? i doednt matter what kind of riding u do... also is there any thing wrong with not using the clutch to shift... will i mess up anything??

If you don't like using the clutch, then you need this:

All you do it let up the throttle a bit and the clutch is automatic.

Well I would say that you might be able to get away with it for a while, but unless you are very good at it you will tear stuff up sooner or later. Knew another guy who loved to shift clutchless untill he lost a tooth from his third gear! Just some advice unless you are a great mechanic and like rebuilding tranny's

You paid good money for that quad, I would use the clutch when shifting. Sure, that tranny may last a long time powershifting, but sooner or later it will lighten your wallet considerably. I look at it this way, you can replace the clutch at least 5 or more times and still be cheaper than tranny repairs.
