yamaha banshee mix

Default yamaha banshee mix

i have a 5 gallon gas tank and i wanted to know how much oil i should put in for the mix. isnt it like 4 ounces of oil to every gallon or something? i have no clue

Depends on what ratio you're running, the back of the mix oil bottle will have a chart for you.

I use golden spectro at 42:1, 3oz of spectro per gallon. If you aren't using a synthetic, or semi synthetic, you should mix at 32:1, 4oz per gallon.

i got like a quick mix bottle for my local dealer that lets me pick my oil to gas ratio on the quick mix bottle you should try and find one there pretty nifffty

True that. I just buy spectro 12oz bottles in bulk {$3.75 a bottle} and when I buy gas I get 4 gallons every time. 4 gallons gas+one 12oz bottle of spectro makes 42:1. I never have to measure that way.

32:1 is a pretty good all purpose ratio, many of your synthetics suggest around 50:1 and some even 100:1. Like I said, check your bottle it should have that information as well. If you're running Yamalube or a generic two stroke oil 32:1 is probably a good bet.
