Recently acquired an 88 warrior for relatively cheap. I bought it as non running and recently disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt the carb. Once you get it running it runs fine, but it wont start with the choke in any position but off. Right now its about 30 degrees and starting it without the choke isnt getting me by. Any ideas? Ive already removed the choke assembly and the o-rings are in good shape and everything appears to be good. Once the motor is running and warmed up, it will die as soon as the choke is pulled, no black smoke or sputtering, it just turns off. At my wits end

i dont know what i'm talking about, but, my guess would be that ur choke is flowing to much gas in and flooding it...are u sure u put the carberator back together right?
