Default raptor 350 question!!!

Comeing from a 250 it would be a good change it would have alot more power and as for shifting yea i would say its pretty smooth an yea i love mine!!! but sure i would love to have a new 700R but i am happy with mine theres verry few times ive ran out of power on hills and its not the fastest on top end as you may know i have clocked mine rideing beside my mustang just to see where it toped out and my front wheels was even with my front bumper and my cuz said he was going 65 so with a few mods you can get between 60-68 on top and mid-range power is great and low is pretty good i put on a 12 tooth for a little more and im verry happy with the 12/38 gearing. But anyways id say yea get it if you cant afford a z400 which is a all togather awesome quad. hope this helps JEREMY

Default raptor 350 question!!!

I have a 2004 Raptor 350 and like it. Have a 12 tooth sprocket on the front and a 40 tooth on the rear and really like this combo for rough trail riding in the mountains. Also like this combo for dune riding. The only negative is that it is a little underpowered when riding the sand dunes with paddle tires. I have to be careful as to how high of dunes I try with the Raptor 350. I ride the dunes with a friend who has a Raptor 660 and he zips up hills that I have no chance of making.

Except for the power thing, I like the 350 and really like it for trail riding.

Default raptor 350 question!!!

I like it more than the 300 ex it does have more power all over than the 300 a good bit plus its more stable a little wider and longer but the 300 is a great atv as well but id go with the 350. As for price used id say around 4 grand up to 4,500 would be fair that is in good condition though anything below 4,500 would be a steal in good shape because they just came out in 05 so any of the rap 350 arent old yet but good luck on what you get keep us filled in.~JEREMY
