So I was at the local Yamaha places the other day checking out the 4-wheelers and as I was looking at the 450 the seller came up to me and asked me If I knew how fast it would run. He said it would run 120mph.....is this true?!?!?

I am geared high with a 15tooth front, and a higher reving cdi, with 20 inch tires. According to gearing calculators, my yfz is capable of going 89mph, assuming that there is NO wheel spin when I am running off the rev limiter in 5th gear.

Bone stock a yfz will only go 72-73 mph. They are gear limited stock at 79mph, but cant get there, as you cant top it out and hit the rev limiter in 5th. Its too choked up and things like drag come into play big time!
