blasters are fun little quads like drivin one of them mini quads you get a pepboys. Yea they beat 250x's all day long. the stock blasters dont even sound like a 2 stroke. What you need to do to build some power is step up to a fmf pipe and silencer makes it sound like a 2 stroke. about $300.00...next you can get aboyesen rad valve $150 this will increase throttle response....k&n air filter...rejet accordingly...and you should be happy for a while

I have an fmf on it, slip on, and it sounds no different than the stock one. Im guessing that I need to get the full exhuast. What about new rear hydrolic brake kits: is there any good brands besides trenga?

No offence but the intended but the FMF is a entry level pipe..Stock blaster is around 16hp to the rear wheels..Add a good right side pipe like a LRD and you are pushing around 24-25 to the rear wheels with a much broader power band..IMO the LRD is the best pipe available for the blaster..I tell you this though, you add a good pipe like a LRD and a 30mm PWK carb and it will feel like a totally different machine..

I don't own my blaster anymore ;-) , I sold it a bout 2 weeks ago and bought a banshee..Not meaning to brag or anything, mainly just want to give you a idea of the potental of the little motor. When i was done with my blaster right before i sold it, i would lay the smack down on my buddies piped 400ex, and I still had stock stroke..I can show you video's of a stock bore, 6mm stroker blaster(215cc's) laying the smack down on lightly modded banshee's, 416ex's and 450R's..And that's no bull **** either

This is the guy who built my motor..This is his wife's quad that he put the 6mm stroker in..It still has a stock bore piston in it..I think if he put a 72mm piston in it, it would be right at 300cc's..Anyways check it out

Bad *** blaster

the reason u dont notice a difference is that u have a stock header pipe. change that and it will be a totaly different bike. thats what changes the power bands. id go with fmf..... #1 selling pipe company. id go with fmf fatty gold series front pipe with a turbine core 2 muffler... i have that and i love it. when i had just that and my dads warrior was stock i could run with him side by side but when i got into 5th he would start pullin away.
id say do those pipes, jet kit, k&n air filter, remove the lid or drill holes, new tires in the back, 14t front sprocket, rear skid plate, if your brakes dont work id go with a hydro kit (my friends work perfect on his but mine never worked since i had it... stock they sux) rad valve or v force reeds are good, reed spacer, new plug, remove the t.o.r.s. theres so much u can do. whats ur price limit and how old and big are u. like hight and weight

trenga racing makes an ultimate 200cc kit witch i think is like 600 dollars and it will give you around 35-40 hp if you have a good pipe and a bigger carb.

Screw trenga man..If you have the money get the CT sonic kit..It's a upgraded more beefy top-end that comes with 42 hp and still can be ported to add even more hp..They even have a kit that comes with carb and the CT pipe
