I just installed a performance kit in my '98 wolverine consisting of a K&N filter and pre filter, jet kit with 155 jet with my needle on the 4th notch and a supertrapp exhaust with 10 discs. It has lots more power and torque but I now have a slight miss under hard acceleration. Can anyone help me?

I can't help you with your jetting, but I was wondering about the kit in the carb, did you install it yourself and if so was it pretty easy to do? I have a 2001 Wolverine and was thinking about gettin a Jet kit for mine. Also does the supertrapp fit good and is much louder...Thanks!!

The carb kit was pretty easy to do ,took the carb out and removed the bottom of it, everything was right there. As for the supertrapp,it makes more of a hollow sound, not too much louder. Some people told me it sounds like a 400ex?But I'll tell you one thing, the pickup in this thing is uncomparable to before.

I have pretty much the same setup, i followed the instructions that came with the dynojet kit. Try removing your air box lid(leaner) and see if this helps, if it doesn't, try covering up part of your air filter with duct tape(richer), hope this helps. i ended up with a #155 jet,12 disc in the pipe and installed another air snorkel.

Does your supertrapp pipe fit good ? Was there any modifications to make it fit? I am leaning towards the supertrapp myself. My Wolverine is a great machine but I am looking for a little more punch out of it..............Thanks!!

Do you think if i added a jet kit , but kept the stock exhaust and removed the baffle, this would benefit me???

I had the same problem after installing my dyno-jet kit. I corrected it by installing a 137.5 main jet (buy from the dealer's bulk stock), using dynojets needle, clip in the second notch from the bottom, and drilling the carb with the kits provided bit. I run six discs and it runs great. I no longer have any flat spots, it warms up much faster, it never pops on a hard decelleration. I've tried all configurations and this is by far the most effective. I run much cleaner and stronger than using dynojets mains. They ran extremely rich. This mod is a must for any wolverine owner. The performance gain is awesome. The extra jet costs around $3.00

Mud_runner,will I get as much performance gain as with what I have now,or do you loose a bit because of your 6 discs?
