Default Can't Wait For The Ice

I can't wait untill the lakes freeze enough to ride on..We set up an oval track with cones last year and studded out the tires with sheet metal screws and it was the best time I've ever had on a quad. This year I bought racing studs with the V shaped head and 1/2" shank. Anyone one else flat track race on the ice?

I used to not put in studs but you get alot more traction on bare ice. Set up an oval and slide the rear end all the way around each corner. Push it right to the edge and if you lose it you just spin around. My friends and I would set up races. What a blast!!!

yea, riding on lakes is awsome. theres tons of people at lake george NY with trucks, quads, snowmobiles, dirtbikes and even hovercrafts! its a blast. i love goin really fast on the ice and then turning. if u dont start spinning u could drift on and on forever, lol, but sumtimes i like spinning around and doing ice donuts too.
