Exhaust glowing red???

If all it has is has is a uni filter you should get it right with the air screw. But if not here is what you do. If it is doing it idleing go one size up on your poilet jet. And if it is doing it while you are rideing you need to go up one size on your main jet. Or you can do both to be safe.
( Its always better to be a little rich on your jets than it is to be lean.) If you are lean you take a chance of burning a hole in the pistion.

thanks for the help. I think I'll try replacing the pilot jet. the carb was real dirty when I got and I'm not sure the jet is all the way clean replacing it will probally be best. besides one more carb tear down/cleaning can't hurt. after all this will only be the 4th time
