Default PCP offroad in Phoenix AZ?

Has anyone hears of PCP offroad in the Phoenix area? They do performance mods to ATVs.

Has anyone had any problems with these guys?

I have a Raptor story about them.

OK, I didn't want to bash them if they have a good rep. But....

My buddy paid them $5500 for the Stage III mod. He got oversize valves, stage 2 cam, 12:1, porting, fancy rod, 102mm...the works.

He took it to the dunes and it seized up. (Melted piston). He took it back. They told him he wasn't running the right octane and charged him $500 to fix. My buddy said that he was never told what octane to run. He is not very mechanical, so he wouldn't have figured it out.

Anyway, they got it running. We took it on the Crown King run yesterday. 10 miles into the flight, it siezed up again. Checked the oil and it was cold as ice. Obvisouly no oil pressure. They must not have cleaned the debris out from the last blow up and it took out the plastic oil pump gear.

In addition, my buddy was complaining about the crappy jetting before it toasted.

So, just wanted to warn you guys.
