I own the above mentioned scrambler and believe that the rectifier /regulator is faulty. The rectifier/regulator is numbered 3Y6. I was told that the Yamaha SR250 (delivery bike) is making use of the same rec/reg. a) Can someone please confirm this for me b) has someone perhaps build a rec/reg for this bike ? In South Africa a get charged an arm& leg for a new one. Perhaps I can build one if someone can provide me with a circuit diagram
