Jacking up the Grizz?
#1
I am going to need to take the tires off the grizz so I can go down and have my mudlites put on, Is there any place to avoid when jacking or putting jack stands. I am planning on going to buy a floor jack and ladder stands today. I dont want to find out too late that there are places that dont support the weight of the machine.

Good choice on the tires Denny. I have a set on my Grizzly and I love them. There is a few pics on my photo page of the 25" XL's. If you don't have after market skid plates then try to stay where the frame meets the stock plates. This way you have some support.

i dont even need jacks or anything..... my dad lifts up the front and i place a big log under it and place it under the front skid plate were the frame meets the plate. then he picks up the back and i place it on the rear skid. we have big stumps so its sturdy and oesnt move one bit. then we take the wheels off. we did this because we didnt have any jacks at home kuz my dad took them to his warehouse so we didnt wanna go all the way over to his office just the jack up the quad. so if you have jacks.... just put it wherever u feel it is most sturdy, and not on the stock skid plates if there's nothing behind them. hope that helped.

Can I borrow your dad.....
cant wait to try the mud lite XTR's I went with 26" but going to do a few things to hopefully make up for the power loss, like K&N Airfilter, Tailpipe tip etc.
