can u just start the atv from n directly to 2nd?can you stay on 2nd gear while slowing down for a corner, and you just hold clutch while waiting on a short stop, instead of using the first?so it possible to just forget the 1st gear?


also..sometimes i just lose the neutral switch, and downshift and upshift and cant find it?what am i supposed to do?

 

First gear is there for a reason, your clutch wont last long if you forget it. As for neutral, it's a half click. Practice makes perfect.

I'm just suprised you chose a raptor as your first atv.

 

1st gear is way important but any ways my first ride was a 660 r 05 and i hade not been on a quad in 22 years oh how it comes back to much fun
