Default Yamaha Model and Serial number

I bought an old Yamaha Moto 4 atv today. Can anyone tell me where to find and decipher the model and serial number. It is in running condition, but I may need a few minor parts. I would like to know the model and year to search for parts. I will order a service manual later. Please help.

Thanks for the reply. I cannot find any numbers there. I will try paint remover to see if the numbers have been painted over.

Were you able to locate this? I have a 90, 91 or 92 and I am pulling my hair out trying to determine what year it is. Its a 350 Moto-4.

Can anyone help???

Thats the problem. I can not find a VIN, Serial or Model Number anywhere on the bike. On my Hondas it is right upfront on the vertical portion of the frame.
