Default 02 Raptor Recall

Just recieved a letter from yamaha to say that my raptor is to be returned to any dealer to have a rear master cylinder dampener kit fitted. It says under heavy braking the rear master cylinder aerates and effects braking. I have not noticed this prob although I ride dunes only. Any one have this recall??
I wish they had a recall on the poor quality rods they fit from new !! I live in Australia so maybe only some bikes are affected.

Ya.......The Recall
I had it done on my 02 Rappy.......All it is a rubber washer that bolts your slave cylinder reservoir to the frame....
I guess on some 02 models it was vibrating and causing air bubbles in the fluid........

Mine had no issues but I had it done anyway........

I didn't have mine done, no issues with braking or air bubbles, I do know about the recall though.

if you take it in regualarly for service, they will do it without you knowing, if you have ever taken it to them for anything in the past years they more than likely allready did it.
