I want to remove the stock headlight for two small lights. I was wondering if anyone has done this on their blaster. What size of lights (how many watts) did you use?
Thanks

I wouldn't go any higher than 2 30 watt lights on the blaster. The stator might be able to handle 2 55 watt lights, but i'm not sure. There's probably somebody else on here that can help you out a little more.

My cousin's suzuki quadracer had a big light mounted on the handlebars just like a blaster. We removed it and put a driving light for a car on it and it looks 100 times better. i'll try to get some pictures for you

250r before/after pics
The after pic was after we shaved his plastics and repainted it, but you can get an idea of what we did from the pics at least. We ran a 100 watt bulb in it and it worked good, and was insanely bright.

You can get a set of the small round chrome lights on ebay for under $40, and get lower power bulbs for those if you need them. Or you could do like we did with my cousin's 250r and mount a single 55 watt light in there.

Ya that looks really cool....I think i'm gonna try to find one like that. I don't know if the stator will be able to power that though. Also I've been wanting to put some underglow on my quad...I was thinking about neon lights but then I heard about these leds...do you know where to find those?

Your stator would be able to power a single 55 watt light like that easy. My cousin's quadracer handled a 100 watt bulb without a problem. We got the set of lights at walmart for $40, and with that you always have an extra light in case you break the first one. Led's would be a lot more durable than glass tube neons, but are also more expensive. I'm not sure what kind of auto parts stores you have in your area, but around here all the major stores sell exterior accent lighting for cars... Damn I just thought of something... your blaster has an AC power system, so you won't be able to run accent lights like neons and led's under your own power. You would need to get a 12 volt battery and recharge it whenever it gets low.

I was looking through the old posts on here...and found one where someone describes how I can get 12 volts dc from the stator to be able to keep a battery charged. Link
I had no idea the blaster was an AC system
