I work with this guy that is kinda stupid, and really cocky. He tried to tell me that his piped 400 ex could keep up with my raptor. Just joking around with him I said that my raptor could pull 10 bike lengths on him in an 1/8 mile drag on the pavement. Then he asked me if I wanted to put money on it. Should I do it. Could my raptor pull 10 lengths on him in a 1/8 mile drag on pavement, or would i need I need to do a little more to it to pull him that much. Did I open my mouth a little too much. I have seen him ride his bike and he can drive it, but it just didn't seem that fast. Should I do it.

 

10 bike lenghts is an awful lot to bet on tell him 5 and than race for the money.

 

Yeah I know 10 is alot I was just joking around when I said it then he wanted to be serious about it. How much can a piped raptor take a piped 400 ex by. because I know I can whoop a piped raptor pretty bad, but I don't know about 10 bikes bad. In an 1/8 mile will either of our bikes top out. I know that my top speed is going to be quite a bit more than his, but im not too sure how much that would come in to play in that short of a distance.

 

Do it just for fun...And when you bet him you can tell him i told you so... He mite be hidden a 440ex you never know..

yeah my raptor has all that on it. But right now I am out of nitrous and there is only one place around me to get it and they are kinda far away so I don't know if I want to drive that far just for a stupid bet, I won't be able to ride for about 2 and a half months in 2 weeks because I am having shoulder surgery again and I don't use nitrous too often mostly just when I am at the dunes so it would be kinda worthless to fill my bottle for a race against a 400ex, then have an almost full bottle sittin around the house for a while. I wouldn't think he has a 440 because the bike doesn't have and work on the intake side. stock air box and lid so I am pretty sure he has just a pipe. The kid is an idiot though so I can see why he would say that. I just don't know anything about hondas though.

 

Just say " 10 bucks says I beat you" b/c im almost positive you will eat him alive. C'mon I mean my blaster hangs with a stock 400ex until he hits 3rd then he pulls away. Ive raced a stock raptor b/f and I got enilated. So yea.... RACE EM.

 

Yeah I think i will do that. Race him for 10 bucks or something like that. We already have an 1/8 mile marked out and I think what we will do is measure out 10 lengths from the 1/8th mark and if I can cross the 1/8th mark before he can cross the other mark I win.
