the 2003 raptor 660 is a fine choice , i had a 660 2004 which was piped and jetted with a k&n and it was very fast indeed, a lovely ride although it could be said it would most definatly benifit from a wide axle or low profile tyres, a great quad to learn to ride on as long as you take it easy, great choice ,xmas pressie i would imagine have fun

I have a 04 660 thats piped with a 11-1 wiseco piston gytr jet kit uni filter and it hauls a$$. look forward to tons of bottom and mid and decent top. I always say raptors are made for big guys so if your bigger you will love it have fun.

Hey thanks for the info...what's this about a wider axle ? i heard of the longer swing arm which i will probably look into cause i don't like how short the raptor is . Once i get use to the power i'd like to do some mods to it but i don't really want to touch the motor any good ideas ...

you need a wider axle because the problem with the 660s is that they are too tall and narrow whereas they have now corrected the problem by making the 700 lower and wider for more stability
