i have 22x8-10 Tires right now. They are shot, so i went to pick up some more. I could only find 23x7-10 in stock though. Being as impatient as i am, i bought them. I havent tried to fit them yet, becuase its dark now, but i was wondering if they would fit since they are for the same size rim or would the width be a problem.

 

The rim size (last number) is the only one that matters.

you went up in heighth,,,,,narrower in width
