Default Hotcam stage 1 or 2?

Hello I have a 89 warrior that I am rebuilding. I was wondering if I should throw in a HC and if so witch stage? I only do a lot of trail riding and jumping. So far I have:

Wiseco 10.5:1 std bore

EBC dirt racer clutch

Cobra megaphone exhaust

brand new cylinder head all stock

Brand new cylinder

2002 stock carb

raptor 660 R rear shock

2002 warrior front shocks

2002 black plastic

Anyway's, will putting a cam in it even be worth it. The warrior is pretty much all stock. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah the cam is worth it... They give you bottom to mid range pull... But If you get a hot cam they only make a stage 1.... for a warrior...

OK thanks, after installing the hot cam is the difference noticeable? Will the timing need to be changed?

No you do not have to change your timing.....
And yes... You will have more botton end pull with the stage 1 hot cam...

How do you get the old cam bering out of the back of the head? Then how do you get it back in?

What you need to do is get a book... Its been about 6 months sence i did it... Your best bet is to go to your yamaha shop and spend $30.00 on the book so you can have all the speces
