In the sand he probly wont becuase he has the fat *** mud tires though they are bigger then utilty tires but if he didnt have those he would probly win but in alaska we dont have big places with sand but we got some sand dunes that are cool but not like miles of it

Wrong! 4 strokes have twice as many moving parts. 2 strokes are very simple engines. They have no valves, cam, cam chain, lifters, rockers, ect.
Their is a lot less that can and does go wrong with 2 strokes. This is the experience that I have had with both over the past 25 years.

Default Banshee vs. Yfz 450

I read this forum to try to decide what I should do and I just get more confused. I been riding Banshees' for many years and I love them. I've been looking at getting a new yfz450 (or 700 - less likely). I have no problem trail riding the Banshee. It is more demanding but I'm use too it. I've never riden with anyone I couldn't keep up with on the trails so I don't see that as a disadvantage. Will I be disappointed with a yfz450 or 700 compared to a Banshee? For comparison purposes assume the Banshee with typical mods. Thanks for any feedback. You can get a used modded Banshee in good shape for almost half the cost of a new yfz450. Is the yfz450 (or 700) still worth it? I do mostly trail riding but I like to get in the open and let it rip.

stock to stock the banshee will get its *** kicked. mill the heads and get new pipes and reeds, your gunna be the fastest bike around. the banshee has like two engines on it so whatever you can do to a regualuar quAD WHICH has one engine you can do twice as much with the banshee. the carbs on a banshee have two (2). both 26 mm. wow u say that ant nuttin well add those both together and you have 52 mm carbs get the mikuni 36 mm carbs and ur gunna have alot of gas riipin through there, get a new stator and then u,ll really be ripping. just get a banshee there cheaper and faster and this is the last year. for sure
