one day i was riding my timberwolf '96 in the snow and rolled it in some mud...my gas cap fell off and i couldnt find it...called the local yamaha dealer and they said 36.99 for one...the next closes dealer for yamaha is about 2 hours away and thats not worth the drive for a gas cap and neither is paying 40 bucks for on for that machine atleast...my question is, will anyother cap from any brand or type of machine or anything work for the gas cap?? any help greatly appreciated...

 

just about any yamaha cap should work because the cap off of my blaster fit right onto my brothers brand new kodiak, so just try and find a junck yard or someone that has a junker yamaha and that should work.
