Default Raptor for trails

I like the look and quality of the new 700 Raptor. Also the EFI for altitude changes. Will a raptor work on trails when they get rough and slow? Will the thing lug ok in the low RPM range? Has anyone made mods to gain ground clearance, bigger rear tires? As I am not concerned about going 70 would a smaller front sprocket help with trails? Thanks.

the raptor is the king of trails and luging around you can get 22 inch tires but u will lose on the handling part and if you did that u would want to go down one tooth on the sprocket

and why go slow? just pinn it thats what i do works fine

I know it has plenty of power to blast through almost anything but there are times when the trail gets tight and technical. Without going to a ute I am just wondering how much I can get out of a rappy so I can have that great power and suspension when things open up.

The 700 is great for even technical trails. First gear feels lower than the 660 did. You almost can't stall it cause it lugs down so good.
