Adjust your fuel mixture screws and it will take care of the too lean idle setting. And check your plug.

This weekend or the next one, i'llhange the jets of my raptor. I'll put the size 148 and 146. Thats what it says on the dynojet kit and i'll let you know how it works.

Leaning out the engine risks serious damage, jet up or don't ride it. Red hot means there's a problem.

 

the Dyno Jet kit usually tells you which jet you should start with.

Not sure where you bought it.. but if it came from ebay check this website out

Hey guys, I just put back bigger jets(146,148) and its running fine,except the front headers glows red again[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] So what do you guys say bout that?
any help would be very appreciated thanx

Ive got a fmf header as well and it glows at idle. Make sure your air screws are 3 turns out.

 

yeah I did the airscrew. But are you sure its normal to glow at idle? because it looks weird? maybe im wrong

Try going with 25 pilots then

 

k im doing this tomorow....haha i just realize something else...when im driving, if I let the gear on the top rpm and then shift it, it will bog a little and after it seems not that strong. Any advice?
