There is something seriously wierd about my banshee....

I bought it from a guy for 1300, because it had a bent rear axle, i just got to ride it for the first time. one problem it has is that it has no low end power. I mean, i have to keep the RPM's up to keep it from dieing, majorly high like 7000-8000 RPMs. And when it goes from low rpm to high rpm, the powerband hit is so hard its just crazy, it will pull the wheels up in 5th gear no problem, and I weigh 270lbs!!!. Somebody put carbon fiber reeds and took off the reed stopper. Could that have something to do with it. I have rode Banshees before, and they certinley didn't act like that.

 

i would check the jets in it and also check your reeds make sure there not worn out

 

i would start by lowering the jets by five to ten in size it probably has 170's in it drop to a 160 to 140 if you are using stock carbs. go by fives though.

Hey whats up Bob good race last weekend peyton looked great we finally got that honda 90 national ready courtney loved having her partner back team ISS is now ready

 

she is happy that her leg brace didnt harber her race. It's hard to believe that they are both going to the national circuit at 7 & 8 yrs old. It is about time we got there with all the money we have sunk into these machines.

It might be something to do with the timing. I know that if you get ignition timing off enough, they won't idle but will really run on the big end.
