Does anybody know if I have to run race fuel with this set-up? I haven't really looked into it too much, But I'd rather just use regular gas since it is cheaper.

Ide say with the proper gearing you would be getting close to there...my stock internal engine ds650 with stock gearing and 22 inch rear tires pulled 83mph. Nobody seems to care for top speed on this forum but thats all i care about because thats all it is around here is open highways with a couple cars an hour, logging roads etc and if ya dont got top speed its gonna be slow and boring...im geared for 80mph now and it isnt fast enough so have fun going 100mph...I think that setup would get ya there with a long enough stretch and tall enough gearing...wipe out at that speed or if something goes wrong and theres gonna be major pain lol but other than that it should be good. Another thing...if i was going to go that fast i might get some tires that were made for that fast....like some slicks or something.

Yea, Slicks would be a good idea. But as for the 100 MPH Wipeout.. It wouldn't matter.. Anything over 70 MPh you are dead or close to, 100 MPH wont make no difference, You'll just die faster.. I like takign risks though. It's how I have fun. Thanks for the help with my set-up. Good Luck getting your DS650 faster

If you wanted speed, (100mph) you should have bought a banshee. For the cost of a new banshee, plus an additional $2000 in mods, you'd only be paying a few hunderd bucks more than the costs of a stock raptor.

I was thinking about it, But you see I don't want just speed. I was thinking more along the lines of trails, hills, and even just going around the track with some jumps. A Banshee is fast I agree, But If I wanted to drag all day and night. That's the choice I would have made.

Although I wanted to do more than just drag. That's why I went with the all-round Quad which was the Raptor. And I figured if I did want speed I can just spend some money. Besides I don't think a Banshee will fit me in a few years anyway. So I just stuck with the Raptor 700R which is a very nice Quad all-round like I said.

I agree, I just purchased my Raptor 700 and love it. The suspension was much better than my old 660. It still needs an exhaust to get easy hp gains. Banshee's need suspension work to make them an all-around quad.

Yeah, The Banshee is great for power and speed because of thier raging powerband that they really didn't make the Banshee for anyhting other than drags. Keep in mind also it is a 2-stroker which are always quicker and have more jolt to them but they could have made it a little more of an all-round kind of quad. Other than that, That's why I chose the Raptor 700R over the Banshee.

Thanks, Matt
