Default --- banshee start problem - cleaned the carbs --- changed the plugs --- cleaned the filter --- please help

I would have to go with zorro on this one. When I bought my first banshee I would have to kick, let my buddy kick while I rested, then i would kick some more while he rested an then.............. Well, you get the picture. I later found out that there was supposed to be a tube that went between the two carbs that wasn't there. I installed it and it would start alot better. Once I got it to start it would run fine but it was just a pain to start. Keep in mind that it is not the big tube that connects the intakes, it is a smaller one that connects each of the carbs together.
