I am about 4 hours west of Sand Mountain and usually ride there twice a year. Live in central Cal. So do you have some question?

Well I was wondering if my blaster would do okay there. And how the riding was, I never riden in the dunes. And they say there is sand dune trails, and there is a long entrance road there, so like should I ride there with paddles or with my xrc's.

Road in is nothing. . . 1/2 mile.

Trails are fine with knobbies.

Mt. is steep. If you weigh more than 130 on that Blaster you are going to have a tougher time getting it to the top of all the hills. But. . . being your first time at the dunes, you probably won't be ready to shoot to the top of all the Mts. It can be intimidating until you get used to it.

Okay so the first time I will ride with knobbies becasue I will only be doing the trails, road, and some of the little hills. Does anyone have pics? And what what is the riding like sand trails is it deep? Is there major open spots that are flat? I like to highmark also. But the major ? is that will the paddels break on the road in (1/2) and on dirt? And is there dirt trails there. I am moving to fallon this summer so yeah. I was wondering if there is some ppl that ride there a lot, and maybe we could meet up. I am 120 pounds. My blaster does not have many performance mods so for that type of riding what do you guys think I should do to it? I want to be able to keep up with others going up. I know I will not stay with a shee or a yfz but I dont want to be to far behind, but be able to beat 300ex's up. I want to spend like 1500 on the ct comp. kit I would love to have it but I wont have enough money.
